In this 60-minute webinar, participants will learn tips on how to identify and prioritize improvement projects for greatest impact. Then, they will see how to test improvement ideas using Plan, Do, Study, Act (PDSA) to ensure their improvements are actually improvements and ready for full implementation.

Learning objectives:

•             Identify common types of health care improvement projects.

•             Examine the use of 3 types of brainstorming techniques.

•             Explore different prioritization methods and the importance of return on investment (ROI) in final decisions.

•             Define the specific components of the Plan, Do, Study, Act (PDSA) methodology

•             Describe how to move through successive, linked PDSA cycles starting with small tests to, ultimately, full implementation for continuous quality improvement
