Clinicians continue to feel overwhelmed by the continuing pace of change, and they see a lack of human and financial resources as a major barrier to quality improvement, according to a survey of PCPI’s member organizations.

Although not a routine part of most clinicians’ training, quality and process improvement methods and tools have the power to transform care and reduce the sense of burden and of overwhelm that many clinicians feel. In this 60-minute webinar, participants will learn how to determine roles and responsibilities that allow clinicians and other members of the care team meet the needs of patients while gaining a greater sense of control for themselves and for their practices.

Learning Objectives:

•             Describe how waste in health care operational and clinical activities leads to poor performance, poor outcomes, and dissatisfaction

•             Identify the common forms of waste

•             Recognize activities that improve patient care and those that do not

•             Determine which team members need to be involved in quality and process improvement, and when
