Measure Testing Webinar Series

Please join us for our upcoming webinar series on Measure Testing in Registries, presented by PCPI's Measurement Science team.

Measure Testing is a critical and vital component of the measure development process. It ensure that measures work, measure what they are intended to measure, and are fit for planned use, establishing the reliability and validity of the measures. Provisions in the latest final rule from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ Quality Payment Program (QPP) require all QCDR measures to be fully specified and tested before inclusion in the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS).  This webinar series will help prepare registries for this requirement and feature PCPI's expertise in testing.

In this set of webinars, we will cover the basics of measure testing, followed by case studies from two guest registries on their experiences with testing their measures, and dive into lessons learned in addition to best practices. In our final session to be delivered in May, we will expand our testing discussion to eCQMs. We will highlight changes to the NQF endorsement criteria and requirements from CMS, as well as dive into commonly used methodologies for testing eCQMs.
