Helping clinicians practice at the top of their license using quality improvement

  • December 5, 2018 at 12pm CT

Clinicians continue to feel overwhelmed by the continuing pace of change, and they see a lack of human and financial resources as a major barrier to quality improvement, according to a survey of PCPI’s member organizations.

Although not a routine part of most clinicians’ training, quality and process improvement methods and tools have the power to transform care and reduce the sense of burden and of overwhelm that many clinicians feel. In this 60-minute webinar, participants will learn how to determine roles and responsibilities that allow clinicians and other members of the care team meet the needs of patients while gaining a greater sense of control for themselves and for their practices.

Share Your Experiences with Improvement Activities

At the PCPI Fall Conference 2018, participants shared what works and what does not, in getting IA programs up and running, and what they would like to see changed. We invite you to add your experience and insights with IAs, as PCPI staff prepare a summary report on the real-world impact of IA requirements on care quality, practice operations and reimbursement, as well as recommendations for enhancing the value of improvement activities. Please share your experience with IA by November 30th. The results of which will be shared at the end of the year. See the full article from PCPI's Fall Conference

In response to attendee feedback, PCPI staff are developing a plan:
