Thursday, March 28, 2019, PCPI Advocacy Advisory Committee staff Kerri Fei, Program Manager of Measure Development Operations and Chrystal Price, Associate Director of Registry Programs presented on the state of Qualified Clinical Data Registries (QCDRs) and measures at the Renal Physicians Association (RPA) Board Meeting, providing an update of PCPI’s advocacy efforts in this space to date as well as where PCPI’s attention will focus in the upcoming year.
After a successful Whiteboarding Session on QCDRs with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) earlier this year, PCPI has focused on conversations regarding measure development and licensing with member organizations and has used this as a springboard to launch the PCPI Advocacy Advisory Committee. This has led to ongoing dialogue with member organizations to ensure their voices are heard and needs are met in a fast-changing regulatory environment. Collaboration with our member organizations will be key to our advocacy success in ensuring our member’s voices are heard.
PCPI looks forward to engaging with our member organizations regarding our advocacy efforts. For more information about the Advocacy Advisory Committee, contact email@example.com.
