The Measure Applications Partnership (MAP) has released its preliminary recommendations on the Measures Under Consideration (MUC) list, and invites the public to comment by January 8, 2020, at 6pm ET. Public comments will be reviewed and considered by the MAP, after which the MAP will present its final recommendations in a report to the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), by January 24, 2020.
The MAP is a public-private partnership convened by the National Quality Forum for the purpose of providing input to HHS on the selection of performance measures for use in federal health programs. Draft reports put forth by MAP’s clinician workgroup, hospital workgroup, and post-acute care and long-term care workgroup are also available for public comment.
The public comment period runs through January 8, 2020. PCPI members can review the MAP’s preliminary recommendations and provide comments, to ensure their voice is heard, here.
