IQVIA, a world leader in data solutions and research services for the life sciences industry, recently launched the COVID Active Research Experience (CARE) Project. The CARE Project is a community-driven reporting program for individuals who suspect or know they have been exposed to COVID-19. Participants report symptoms, medication use, test results, and other information in order to advance understanding of its prevalence, symptom progression, and treatment outcomes.
IQVIA will be sharing the non-personal data collected in the CARE registry with researchers to help develop treatments, with states and federal organizations for public health purposes, and with patients, healthcare providers, and the general public.
We are asking our members and the greater community-at-large to contribute to the initiative and to help spread the word in two ways:
• If you may have been exposed, know someone who has been exposed, or if you are at high risk of infection to COVID-19, whether you have tested positive or not, visit helpstopcovid19.com today to contribute your information (experiential data)
• Tell people you know who may have been impacted by the virus about the portal
Additional information about the CARE Project can be found at helpstopcovid19.com.
